Compliance and risk statement

Why this page is here
Applicants, employers and advertising platforms are all entitled to one page that states what WorkTide is, which claims it refuses to make, and where to report a problem. This is it.
Our position in the process
WorkTide introduces applicants to employers. We are not the employer in any listing on this site. We do not issue contracts, set rotas, supervise work or pay wages. After an introduction the relationship runs between you and that employer.
Claims we will not make
We do not promise that an application will succeed. We do not promise a level of income, a number of hours, or a timescale for payment. Any figure quoted to you comes from the employer, and you should have it confirmed in writing before relying on it.
Where listing content comes from
Employers supply the content of their own listings. We publish it in good faith and withdraw listings once we are told a role has closed. We cannot independently audit an employer's internal arrangements, so if a listing does not reflect reality, tell us and it comes down.
Money and credentials
Applicants are never charged. We will never request a payment, a deposit, a bank login, a card number, a password or a one-time passcode, and no legitimate step in this process requires any of them. Any such request made in our name did not originate with us.
Your personal data
The privacy notice sets this out in full, including the processors involved and your rights under UK GDPR. In brief: your application reaches the employer whose listing you answered, plus the named providers that run the hosting, the measurement tags, the WhatsApp link service and the messaging, and nobody else.
Advertising consistency
Our advertising is intended to describe the work in the same terms used on this site. Where an advertisement conflicts with this site, please send it to us; we review the conflict and correct whichever version is wrong.
How the service is funded
Employers pay for their roles to be advertised and for applicants to be introduced. Applicants pay nothing at any point. We set this out openly, because an introduction service that is unclear about who funds it invites precisely the suspicion it ought to avoid.
The limits of what we know
We publish what employers tell us. We are not an auditor, a regulator or a licensing body. We do not inspect premises, examine an employer's finances, or guarantee that a role remains open at the moment you read it. A listing is an invitation to a conversation rather than a warranty.
Reporting a listing or an advertisement
We would much rather be told than not. Send it over with a screenshot. Where it does not reflect reality the listing is withdrawn and the advertising stopped. Reports are handled confidentially.
Raising a concern
Email careers@worktidely.com with a description and a screenshot if you have one. Employment questions and data-protection questions go to the same address and each one gets a written answer.
